In early February 2018, members of the Apricot team joined partner organisations (from Belgium, Italy, Austria and Spain) for the final meeting of the VG-CLIL project in Vienna, Austria.  We have been working successfully together for the past two and a half years to  develop a unique employability skills programme that also develops foreign language skills.  The VG-CLIL project aims to promote employment mobility in Europe by developing country-specific employability programmes using a Content and Language Integrated Learning approach.

Together we have developed a modular employability programme gives adults seeking work in one or any of the partner countries a better understanding of how to access work in that country whilst, at the same time improve their language skills for that country.  So, for example, its about improving Spanish language abilities in parallel with  improving your employability skills for work in Spain!

The training materials are available as an Open Educational Resource and produced in 5 different European languages.
